The first Hand Poke (machine free) tattoo I made was around 18 years ago.

Once I began working full time in a busy walk-in studio, there wasn't the option to continue hand poked tattooing. It was high intensity and speed was of the essence. 
Similarly, when I got to be point of being able to progress my work into a more avant garde/realistic style of tattooing, I lost touch with how fulfilling & organic Hand poke, Machine free, traditional tattooing was.

Happily in more recent years I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to be able to tattoo by hand again.
The last few years I have been really getting into healing/spiritual symbols & ancient tattooing in various cultures. Alongside being heavily inspired by Art Nouveau, Folk Art & Nature.
My Hand Poke Tattoo style is as eclectic as one would expect from me, it can either be best described as 'Bold & Beautiful' taking influence from North African, European Tattooing and Ancient stone carvings/Cave Art, bold saturated lines.
To 'Gentle Realism' taking influence from Nature, Flora and Fauna.
